Task
The Denkstättenkuratorium für NS-Dokumentation connects more than 80 sites of remembrance and memorials across Upper Swabia as well as in neighbouring regions abroad (Switzerland and Austria). The initiative aims to promote exchange between the individual sites and to increase the visibility of smaller, lesser-known memorials. In addition, the curatorium acts as a mediator between the memorial sites and interested school classes, as well as other educational and visitor groups.
Approach
As part of this project, a holistic corporate design was developed. Complementary educational media and print materials were created to present historical content in a contemporary way.
Outcome
The result is a consistent visual identity that brings the many sites together under a shared identity. At its heart is a website with a directory of remembrance trails. It gathers all memorial sites in one place and makes even the smaller ones easy to find.
